Frequently Asked Questions
| Got questions? We’ve got answers! Below are some of the answers to your most frequently asked questions: |
We sure do. We gladly accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express credit cards. |
You bet. Whenever possible, we will gladly get you a shipping estimate. Otherwise, you pay only what we are charged to ship your purchase. We use UPS to pack and ship our artwork and insure it to the artwork’s full value. |
Yes! We are not a “cash and carry” gallery, but will gladly work with you to come up with a plan that fits your budget. |
Not a problem! If you’ll leave a credit card number with us, you can take out artwork on approval. Try it for a few days and see what you think. If you decide you want it, give us a call and we’ll run the card. If not, bring the artwork back in its original condition and we’ll destroy the card number no questions asked. |
Because we are a consignment gallery and promptly pay our artists at the end of each month, all sales in the gallery are final. If you are unsure about a purchase, please feel free to take it out on approval (see question 3) before making a purchase. |
Almost! About 90% of the artwork is made in Arkansas. The rest is made by artisans around the country. All of our work is handmade, and none of it is imported from other countries. |
With the exception of photography, we only carry original artwork in our gallery. |
It pays to keep up with your friends from high school who were much smarter than you! Our site is designed by an old friend who dabbles in web site design, and is a really smart person! |
Usually they find us! We review portfolios, attend art events all over the state, and scour the internet to find the best of the best. We try to keep a very diverse mix of artwork ranging from traditional to contemporary. |
No. We are not licensed appraisers. However, we will be happy to refer you to a licensed appraiser who can assist you with your appraisal needs. |
The artists in the gallery are responsible for framing their work and use various framers around the state. We’re happy to recommend some framers we know will do a good job for you. |
Most of the framed artwork in the gallery can be sold without the frames. Let us know what you’re interested in and we will contact the artist to see if it is possible to remove the frame from the artwork and obtain the frame price to deduct from your purchase. |
Yes. We require all of our artists to use only archival matting and materials in their artwork. |
No, not at this time. |
Sadly, no. The owner took oil painting in the third grade and ended her short career by the fourth grade. She’s decided it’s way more fun to curate art than try to make it. However, the next time you’re in the gallery, she will gladly draw you a fun smiley face with big hair; that’s about the extent of her range! |
