All About Musby

	Thank you for reading my artist statement. My name is Musby (‘cause we mus’ be crazy to get another dog), and I am the Director of Customer Service here at ArtSpace. I’m proud to "bark" that we haven’t had one single complaint since I came on board! When I am not at work in the gallery, I enjoy getting in touch with my "inner dog" by working in a variety of media. I "paw paint" using acrylics and watercolors. Some of my more well-known paintings are, "Still Life with Bone," "Squirrel on the Horizon," and "Chasing Oscar." Oscar is my brother, a long haired tuxedo cat who stays at home during the day while I’m out trying to make an honest living. I also have a pesky little sister named Miss Hiss. She is a black kitty with four white paws just like me. Mom sometimes volunteers at the Humane Society, and, not too long ago, she brought home another dog! At first I thought I was being replaced, but Mom said we need to help animals whenever we can. So, now I have a new brother; his name is Mr. President, and he’s a really handsome guy.
My favorite activities at the gallery include shaking paws with customers, rolling upside down on the floor, and getting to greet all the kids who come see me. If their parents say it’s okay, I’ll give them a big lick on the face! I appreciate your interest in learning more about me, and I hope you’ve enjoyed your visit to ArtSpace, where we "paws for art" every single day!
